Dječji raj (Children's Paradise) is Sukošan's main beach, about 11 kilometres and a quarter of an hour's drive from Zemunik Donji. As the name suggests, its shallow water and sandy bottom make it ideal for children and anyone who likes playing in the sea, and it is a favourite spot for picigin. The shore is partly paved with stone slabs and mostly covered in pebbles. Sun loungers and pedal boats are for hire, and there are cafés, showers, changing cabins and eco toilets. Sukošan also has Makarska beach, with a shower, cabins and tamarisk shade, next to courts for beach volleyball, basketball and boules.
